EGR

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is a nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions reduction technique that is used in petrol/gasoline and diesel engines. EGR recirculates the engine’s exhaust gas back to the engine’s cylinders. When the mixture is diluted and combustion temperature is lowered, NOx output is reduced as a result.
