Breakdown Services

Coverage for services such as towing, emergency repairs, starting assistance for cars with disabled batteries, fuel replenishment for cars run out of fuel, etc. Typically offered through the maintenance system of the fleet management service supplier and available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.  Cost of the service itself may be incorporated in charges for maintenance management or it may be charged  separately per period, e.g., monthly, annually, or per-incident. Similarly, the cost for actual work performed may be incorporated in the vehicle’s lease rate or it may just  be invoiced when incurred. In some countries, the driver is charged if he or she is at fault for the occurrence of the problem.
