Beasley, Thomas W.

Thomas W. Beasley was a past president of the National Auto Auction Association. On April 15, 1953 he sold the first car at the newly formed Nashville Auto Auction, and the auction was often referred to as "Tom Beasley's Nashville Auto Auction," according to the association.

In 1959, Beasley served as president of the National Auto Auction Association, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1976. Beasley retired in March 1984 and remained a significant contributor and pioneer of the auto remarketing industry. Beasley was the owner of Nashville Auto Auction, Nashville, Tenn.

Beasley died at age 92 on January 30, 2011.
