Volvo Cars is moving closer to offering a nationwide concierge service that allows users to schedule pick-ups and drop-offs of their vehicles for maintenance, the automaker has announced.

Volvo plans to offer the service from additional dealers in early 2019.

Volvo has completed a pilot test in Palo Alto, Calif., of the valet service earlier this year in which users scheduled the service from their mobile devices. Pickup and Delivery is one service offered on the Volvo On Call platform.

Volvo has also begun offering vehicle fueling and washing in the San Francisco Bay area and Seattle. Digital key sharing is a standard feature on the 2018 XC40.
