Maserati is moving to electric power steering from a hydraulic-based steering for its 2018 models to enable additional driver-assisting features for its Levante, Ghibli, and Quattroporte, the company announced at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

For 2018, Maserati will also offer its Nerissimo black package on the three models. The optional package includes Nero paint with a black chrome accents, new badges on the C-pillars, and black on the window surrounds, exhaust tips and vertical grille bars.

The Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans will also receive LED headlights. Ghibli and Levante will add trims GranLusso and GranSport, which have already been added to Quattroporte.

GranSport offers a sportier design, while the GranLusso cabin combines a choice of Ermenegildo Zegna silk or full premium Italian leather upholstery, and includes upgrades such as wood trim and wooden/leather steering wheel.
