Nissan's three-row Pathfinder SUV adds automatic braking on all models and a rear door alert for 2018, while adding $500 to reach a starting retail price of $30,790, after a mild refresh in 2017, Nissan has announced.

The price includes a $975 destination and handling fee.

The 2018 Pathfinder adds Innocative Rear Door Alert, a feature that helps remind drivers about anything they may have left in the rear seat. Automatic braking will also be standard across the lineup, and Nissan will add a Midnight Edition package on the SL model with black 20-inch aluminum wheels, black mirror caps, and a black spoiler.

In 2017, the Pathfinder increased power from its 3.5L V-6 to 284 hp (from 260 hp), which increased towing capacity to 6,000 pounds (from 5,000 pounds).
