Three 2017-model-year pickup trucks, including Ford's F-150, were among the highest rated vehicles in J.D. Power's 2017 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, the company has announced.

The F-150, Ford Super Duty trucks, and Honda's Ridgeline received a Power Circle rating of five out of five for overall appeal. The study measures vehicle owner satisfaction of performance, design, layout, and features after 90 days of ownership.

Other trucks received high grades with a rating of four our of five. Those included the Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Canyon, GMC Sierra HD, and GMC Sierra 1500.
