Nissan's 2017 Armada three-row SUV will retail for at least $45,395 and went on sale at dealer lots on Aug. 12, Nissan has announced.

The Armada is entering its second-generation with an enhanced V-8 engine, new 7-speed automatic transmission and additional safety options.

Nissan is offering the 2017 Armada in three trim grades (SV, SL, and Platinum) and optional all-wheel drive.

The rear-wheel Armada retails for $45,395 for the SV, $50,145 for the SL, and $58,085 for the Platinum. Adding all-wheel drive adds a $2,900 premium.

The Armada SV includes the Driver Package, while the SL adds a moonroof, the Technology Package, and special Pearl White paint. The Platinum adds the captain seat package for the rear rows.
