The Nissan Maxima will get light updates for the 2017 model year such as standard Apple CarPlay and two optional accessory packages following a robust redesign for 2016.

In addition to standard Apple CarPlay, the 2017 Maxima will offer two accessory value packages, including the Medallion Package and Dynamic Package. The Medallion Package for the Premium grade includes a Premium spoiler, 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, illuminated kick plates, interior accent lighting and exterior ground lighting. The Dynamic Package for the SV grade includes a Premium spoiler, 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, illuminated kick plate and side rocker molding.

The Maxima is powered by a 3.5L V-6 engine mated to an Xtronic CVT.
