The Infiniti QX50 will start at $35,445 for the rear-wheel-drive model and $36,845 for the all-wheel-drive SUV when it goes on sale later this month at dealers, Infiniti has announced.

For 2016, Infiniti is offering options including the Premium Package that's priced at $500 and includes a Bose 11-speaker Premium Audio system, advanced climate control system, maple interior accents, and aluminum roof rails.

The compact luxury SUV arrives 3.2 inches longer than the outgoing model with a wheelbase that now measures 113.4 inches. The vehicle also has 8.3 cubic feet of additional interior volume (115.4 cubic feet). Much of the space has been added to the second row seating; rear legroom grows by 4.3 inches and rear knee room by 3.9 inches.

The 2016 QX50 will also get new front and rear fascia, wheels, side sills and a higher ride stance.
