Nissan hasn't included the Cube subcompact car in its announcement of its 2015 model-year lineup, fueling speculation that the quirky vehicle would be discontinued after 2014.

If Nissan ceases production of the car, it would end six years of a vehicle that likely attracted more head turns that booked sales. Last year, 5,461 Cubes were sold in the U.S. Commercial fleets added 294 Cube cars and rental fleets added 548.

Nissan's Canada division has confirmed via Twitter that the vehicle is no longer available in that country, reports Driving.

A Nissan North America spokesman declined to confirm the move. "Nissan continues to sell the 2014 Cube and has not made an announcement about future product plans," said Dan Passe.
