Ford has begun taking orders from dealers for its 2015 Mustang, as it continues celebrating the 50-year anniversary of the iconic sports car.

Ford's redesigned Mustang offers three engines, including the first four-cylinder engine since 1993 for customers in Europe and Asia, where the vehicle will be sold for the first time. The 2.3-liter EcoBoost produces 305 horsepower and 300 lb.-ft. of torque. The Mustang will also be offered with a 3.7-liter V-6. The Mustang GT gets a new, more powerful 5.0-liter V-8 engine.

Other new standard features include a fully independent suspension, push-button start, and next-generation SYNC system.

Ford has set the base price for the V-6 Mustang at $24,425, which includes destination and delivery charges.
