Dodge is introducing the Journey Crossroad trim level of its mid-size SUV for the 2014 model-year ahead of a planned 2015 redesign of the vehicle, Fiat Chrysler announced at the Chicago Auto Show.

The 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad, which will be available in the spring, will retail for $25,990 (including a $995 destination fee).

The Crossroad trim level will fall between the SXT and Limited models, and Dodge is incorporating styling cues from the Dodge Durango full-size SUV. The Journey seats seven passengers in three rows.

In calendar-year 2012, commercial fleets registered 2,750 Dodge Journey SUVs. Rental providers registered 18,105.
