WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ – BMW plans to unveil a number of new vehicles at the New York Auto Show, including its new X1 Sport Activity Vehicle, X6 M, and BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe (debuting at the New York auto show, though it debuted in Europe already).

The BMW X1 Sport Activity Vehicle is coming to the U.S. for the first time. The automaker said it’s the latest vehicle to feature the TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine. The updated BMW X1 will be available in U.S. showrooms in summer 2012, according to the company.

The BMW X6 M model features several design updates and features that emphasize “its width and track and road-holding prowess,” the automaker stated.
