PROVO, UTAH – Home security and automation company Vivint, formerly APX Alarm, has nearly completed the process of rebranding its fleet of 350 vehicles that it uses for customer service. These new graphics reflect the company’s name change and are in line with its goal to provide a high, consistent level of customer service. The fleet consists entirely of 350 Chevrolet HHR models but the company has another 254 Scion xB vehicles on order to be delivered in June of this year, according to Lisa Davis, a company spokesperson.

Davis said Vivint expects the rebranding effort to be done soon; as of this interview the company was a month and a half into the process and had added Vivint’s new graphics to 89 percent, or 312 vehicles. She said the company expects the rebranding effort will have taken a total of 2 months to complete. Each vehicle in the fleet was out of service for 3-4 hours as it underwent a visual overhaul.

When putting its vehicles through this rebranding process, Vivint worked with its internal marketing team to ensure a consistent look.

“When we branded our HHRs with APX Alarm, we used a local vendor to produce and install the graphics. In the rebrand, our own marketing team designed the Vivint graphics and we had the same local vendor produce and install them.”
