Honda to Continue Plant Shutdown Through Wednesday

TORRANCE, CA – Honda said its suspension of automobile production, which began March 14, was extended through March 23 at three plants in Japan. The company wanted to correct news reports that production of vehicles in Japan would not resume until May. The company reiterated that its U.S., Canadian, and Mexico-based plants are continuing to produce their normal output of vehicles.
