Hyundai Genesis Coupe to Compete With Infiniti G37

FOUNTAINVALLEY, CA – Earlier this year, Hyundai said it set sedans like the BMW 5Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class as the benchmark for its new Genesis sedan,and now press materials for the 306-hp, V-6 Genesis coupe — rumored to bepriced starting under $26,000 — tout the $35,000-plus Infiniti G37 as apossible competitor, according to www.cars.com.

TheGenesis coupe features doors with two distinctly carved lines — one trailingoff the front fenders, the other headed for the taillights, upscale toucheslike a chrome lip atop the trunk and painted tailpipe surroundings, 19-inch,twin-spoke alloys; 3.8L V-6 that makes 306 hp and 263 ft.-lb. of torque (310 hpwith premium fuel).
