Infiniti to Launch Diesel Models in Europe From 2010

NASHVILLE, TN – Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti will offer anenhanced version of diesel engine on its models to be sold in Europe from 2010,according to the Web site www.automotive-business-review.com. The luxury brand willreportedly launch in Europe with a four-carlineup based around its G37 sedan and coupe models. It will also offer thefour-wheel drive EX37 and the recently launched FX50 premium SUV.

 

According to Infiniti, the diesel engine is currently being developedby the Renault-Nissan alliance, and is likely to be introduced in the modelsthat are manufactured by the two companies. The engine will be adapted byInfiniti according to its requirements.
