Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling 307 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia luxury vehicles because their braking systems may have contaminated brake fluid, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The braking fluid might damage the braking system or affect braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash, NHTSA said. Alfa Romeo dealers will inspect the braking system and replace it if necessary. There will be no charge for this service.

The recall is expected to begin Feb. 8. Vehicle owners can reach Alfa Romeo customer service at (844) 253-2872. FCA’s number for this recall is T84.
