VIDEO: What an Exploding Takata Air Bag Looks Like

Toyota and Nissan are recalling an additional 6.56 million vehicles globally so dealers can replace Takata-manufactured air bag inflators at risk for exploding, CNN reported. 

Toyota’s global recall expansion involves about 5 million vehicles, including Corolla, Vitz/Yaris and other models, manufactured from 2003 to 2007. About 637,000 of those are in the U.S.

The Nissan global recall expansion includes 1.56 million vehicles manufactured from 2004 to 2007. About 326,000 of them are in North America.
