Jaguar XK Recalled for Parking Lamps

Jaguar Land Rover North America is recalling 4,787 2012-2015 model-year Jaguar XK vehicles because the parking lamps may turn off after about five minutes, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.

As a result, the vehicles – manufactured from March 4, 2011, to March 20, 2014 – fail to comply with all federal safety standards.

Jaguar dealers will update software that controls the front side lamps, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin March 13.

Vehicle owners can contact Jaguar customer service at (800) 452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is J049.
