The National Safety Council on Wednesday, April 16, will conduct a free webinar, titled “The Multitasking Myth,” focusing on driving-related attention and vision.
Set to begin at noon CDT, the program will feature Paul Atchley, a Kansas University professor specializing in cognitive psychology. Atchley is renowned for his research on distracted driving and has also worked with multidisciplinary research teams on issues related to sign design, older driver training and screening, and work zone safety.
Atchley is the associate chair of undergraduate studies and the director of the cognitive psychology program at KU. Deb Trombley, the National Safety Council program manager, will also participate in the webinar.
