Service King Collision Repair Centers, a multi-state operator of collision repair facilities, said it has acquired Las Vegas-based Collision Authority.

Collision Authority has six collision repair centers in the Las Vegas-Henderson area in Nevada. Service King has more than 110 locations in Texas, Tennessee, Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma and now Nevada.

“Service King looks forward to serving the Las Vegas market’s insurance community, auto dealers and customer base with the service and high quality repairs that they expect,” said Chris Anderson, market vice president for Service King.

Collision Authority dates back to 1991, when Michael Spears, Vicki Dessaints and Bill Falls built the company. The company's repair facilities cover 210,000 square feet and can serve more than 1,500 cars per month.

Collision Authority’s partners -- Spears and Dessaints -- and 130 associates join more than 2,300 Service King teammates across the country. Spears has more than 22 years of industry experience, helping Collision Authority become the largest chain of auto body shops in Nevada.

“We never intended to sell, but after spending considerable time with Service King we knew that Service King would be a great fit,” Spears said. “Service King shares the same commitment to high quality customer service and teammate values that made our stores number one in Las Vegas.”

“With our current presence in Arizona, we are excited about the opportunity to expand into Nevada and be able to serve our customers and the insurance community in the Western United States,” added Chris Abraham, CEO of Service King.
