The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS) is offering its 2013 Drive Safely Work Week (DSWW) tool kit in Spanish. NETS worked with the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to translate the kit. NETS noted that approximately 38 million U.S. residents speak Spanish at home, according to the U.S. Census.

Drive Safely Work Week will be nationally recognized Oct. 7 -11, and this year’s campaign theme is “Gear Up for Safe driving- Mind, Body, Vehicle,” according to NETS.

NETS 2013 Drive Safely Work Week free tool kit for employers provides Web-based resources that illustrate how the mind, body, and vehicle are connected and how maintaining all three is essential to safe driving. The kit also provides tips to help drivers stay safe while driving. NETS’ member companies developed the tool kit, and their combined fleet of approximately a half-million vehicles travels more than 10 billion miles globally each year.
