Service King Collision Repair Centers, a multi-state operator of high-quality collision repair facilities, announced it has acquired the collision division of Greulich’s Automotive Services.

Service King now has over 80 locations in Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. The company will take over the ownership and operation of Greulich’s Scottsdale, Mesa and Peoria collision repair locations in Arizona. Greulich’s Automotive Services has been a leading provider of automotive services throughout the Phoenix metro area since 1977.

"We are very excited to work with a company with as much history in Arizona as Greulich’s Automotive Services,” said Chris Anderson, market vice president for Service King. “Both companies share a similar commitment to continued innovation, quality repairs and customer satisfaction, which will make this partnership successful."

With these three new locations, Service King will continue expanding its growing client base in Arizona and throughout the U.S. These state-of-the-art repair centers are capable of serving over 144,000 vehicles a year companywide.

"We are pleased to welcome the loyal customers and great team of Greulich’s to the Service King family,” said Chris Abraham, CEO of Service King. “These 25 local staff members will be joining our dedicated staff of over 2,200 teammates at Service King."

"We are enthusiastic about working with Service King Collision Repair Centers,” added Chris Greulich, president of Greulich’s Automotive Services. “We have been looking for a company that shares our values and would be a good cultural fit for our existing employees. We think we have found that partner in Service King and are looking forward to this exciting time for both companies."

Service King Collision Repair Centers’ acquisition of Greulich’s Automotive Services’ collision division officially closed on March 26.

Founded more than 36 years ago in Dallas, Texas, Service King Collision Repair Centers has grown to be a leader in the collision repair industry.

In 2012, The Carlyle Group bought a majority stake in the Richardson-based Service King, providing the capital necessary to grow nationally. Service King’s expansion continues, now with 10 San Antonio locations, 24 Dallas-Fort Worth locations, 12 Houston locations, nine South Central locations and eight collision centers in Arizona with additional acquisitions planned.
