Twelve Chrysler Group Vehicles Earn Top Safety Pick Ratings

AUBURN HILLS, MI – As part of the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety’s (IIHS) list of Top Safety Picks for the Year, Chrysler noted that a total of 12 of its models have earned this rating for the list. Two models, the Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200, earned the new IIHS Top Safety Pick+ recognition level.

The other models that earned Top Safety Pick status this year include the Fiat 500; the all-new Dodge Dart; the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger; the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans; the Dodge Journey, Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee mid-size SUVs; and the Jeep Patriot small SUV, when equipped with optional side air bags.
