WASHINGTON -- Volkswagen of America Inc. is recalling 13,172 2012 model-year Audi Q5 crossover SUVs because the front sunroof glass panel in these vehicles runs the risk of breaking in extremely cold weather, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.
The vehicles covered in the recall were all manufactured from May 16 through June 13 of this year. To remedy the problem, Audi dealers will replace the front sunroof glass panel free of charge.
The recall is expected to get under way around Aug. 7.
