TORRANCE, CA – Some of the safest fleets in the U.S. will reveal the strategies that have worked best to reduce company risk and liability exposure next month at Bobit Business Media’s first-ever Fleet Safety Conference in Schaumburg, Ill., scheduled for May 22-23.

Vince Brigidi, president and chief operating officer of the CEI Group, will moderate the 45-minute panel session on “Best Practices: Successful Policies & Programs,” starting at 10:30 a.m. on May 23. CEI provides fleet accident management, risk management, and driver safety services.

The panel will discuss real-world experiences from companies whose safety programs have documented a significant reduction in preventable accidents and their successful use of MVRs to identify-high risk drivers.

Featured panelists will include Rita Knoll, corporate fleet & safety manager for Andersen Corp.; Theresa Belding, senior manager of fleet services for Forest Pharmaceuticals and 2011 Professional Fleet Manager of the Year; and Jonathan Kamanns, fleet services manager for Ingersoll Rand.

The session is just one of 18 designed specifically to help fleets attain the highest level of safety in their operations. For a full lineup of speakers and sessions, go to www.fleetsafetyconference.com. Register by April 24 to receive an advanced rate that is $100 off the regular price of a full conference pass.

In addition to the educational sessions, a special Fleet Safety Award luncheon will take place from 12:15-1:30 p.m. on May 23. The award will honor the top fleet safety professional who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and measurable results in enhancing the safety of their employees, those traveling with them, and everyone else who shares the road with them.
