DETROIT - The second annual Electric Vehicle Safety Standards Summit, sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association and SAE International, will be held Sept. 27-28 at the Marriott Detroit Renaissance Center Hotel in Detroit.

This year's event will continue discussion on developing action plans to address safety issues related to electrified vehicles and their infrastructure. Attendees will include safety representatives from vehicle and equipment manufacturers, fire protection specialists, electrical safety organizations and emergency responders, along with governmental representatives from the federal, state and local levels.
