Earl Scheib Ceases Operations Nationwide

SHERMAN OAKS, CA - Earl Scheib Inc., an auto paint and collision repair business dating back to 1937, has ceased operations nationwide, according to the company Web site. 

In 2009, the company was acquired by Kelly Capital, an investment firm based in San Diego. 

Each Earl Scheib store is now independently owned and operated. Store owners are no longer affiliated with Earl Scheib Inc. As a result, customer warranties of Earl Scheib Inc. are void.
