MINNEAPOLIS, MN --- ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minneapolis-based collision repair company, has acquired a repair center in Loveland, CO. This facility, formerly known as Loveland Auto Body, brings the total number of ABRA repair centers to 96 in 11 states.

ABRA has named Steve Scheideler general manager of ABRA-Loveland. Scheideler joined ABRA in 1998 with the acquisition of Aspen Auto Body. Prior to his move to Loveland, he served as the general manager in ABRA-Boulder and ABRA-Longmont.

"We purchased this center from Bob Bowman, who opened Loveland Auto Body in April of 1993," said Tim Adelmann, ABRA's executive vice president of business development. "Bob, who is a graduate of Northwestern Iowa Technical College and has been in the industry since 1976, will remain with ABRA-Loveland as a customer service manager."

ABRA's future growth in Colorado includes repair centers located in Ft. Collins, Ft. Morgan and Pueblo, the company said.
