Mitsubishi Fuso to Recall 10,325 Trucks

WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America Inc. is recalling 10,325 1999-2004 FE639 and FE649 trucks because of potential weakness of the rear engine support bracket, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.

If the bracket breaks apart, the transmission could drop out of alignment with the drive train. Dealers will install a modified rear engine support bracket component free of charge.
