Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Elects New Board Chairman

ARLINGTON, Va. --- The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has elected Brian V. Boyden as the new chairman of the board of directors. Boyden is executive vice president of State Farm Insurance Companies. He succeeds Gary Kusumi, president and CEO of personal lines for GMAC Insurance. Kusumi served as IIHS chairman during 2007 and will continue to serve as a member of the board."The institute has been working for more than 50 years to help reduce injuries, deaths and property damage on our nation's roads. It's a goal we all share," Boyden said. "I look forward to working with my colleagues and fellow board members on this very important and challenging work."
