Southeastern Fla. Coast Prepares for Tropical Storm

November 01, 2007

WASHINGTON, D.C. --- The U.S. National Hurricane Center has issued a tropical storm warning for the southeastern Florida coast --- from Ocean Reef to Deerfield Beach. The tropical storm Noel has triggered a storm watch from north of Deerfield Beach to Jupiter Inlet. Noel has killed at least 81 people and caused mudslides in the Caribbean. Experts warn that Noel's rainfall and wind may not be as damaging as the erosion they cause.
