Over the seven-day period, three people died on state roads, compared to five fatalities in 2006 and eight in 2005.From 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, through the end of Sunday at midnight, the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol handed out 14,785 citations, including 154 DUI arrests and 333 seat-belt violations, the Clarion Ledger reported.
