Fleet Response Announces New President

CLEVELAND – Fleet Response, has appointed Scott Mawaka as its new president and COO. Prior to this promotion, Mawaka served as executive VP for Fleet Response.

Mawaka began his career with Fleet Response as an account executive in 1989. He left in 1993 to pursue his property & casualty insurance license and became a “Top 10” national producer with Liberty Mutual. Mawaka returned to Fleet Response in 1998 as a district manager. Since his return, he has been promoted to national sales manager, VP, executive VP, and ultimately president. Mawaka has more than 14 years of car rental, insurance, and accident management experience. He is a member of the National Association of Fleet Administrators, Risk and Insurance Management Society, and the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.Mawaka has been a driving force in Fleet Response’s steady growth and development. This year, Fleet Response has experienced a 15-percent growth in sales. He has been a catalyst for Fleet Response’s development of enhanced maintenance, online applications, and safety products.
