Fleet Safety Certification Program Set for Montreal in May

April 04, 2007

MONTREAL, Canada --- The North American Transportation Management Institute will host a fleet safety certification program in Montreal from May 28 to June 1. CMV Safety Consulting will provide the training to safety personnel in the transportation industry, according to a report in Truck News. There will be two separate programs available. The Managing Motor Fleet Safety Program is geared for transportation safety directors and prospective safety directors. This course is required training for the Certified Director of Safety (CDS) and can be applied to the Certified Safety Supervisor (CSS) designation. The Motor Fleet Safety Basics Program seeks to provide training on the application of safety-related policies and procedures. The latter program, a training requirement for NATMI's safety certification program, is designed for line-level safety supervisors.
