One-Day Truck, Commercial Driving Course Focuses on Safety in Adverse Conditions

APPLETON, WI – Marsh Inc., a risk and insurance services firm, announced the 2006 schedule of the one-day, hands-on safety course for truck, fleet, and, commercial drivers, trainers, and safety managers. The one-day course will be held in Appleton at the Fox Valley Technical College Wisconsin Decision Driving Center’s skid pad on the following dates: May 18, July 20, and Oct. 19.The course, coordinated by Marsh’s Transportation Practice in conjunction with Fox Valley Technical College, offers an opportunity for new and experienced truck and commercial drivers, driver trainers, and safety managers to experience firsthand the driving skills required to operate vehicles under adverse conditions in a controlled environment. The course is conducted on a road course designed by safety engineers to simulate common emergency situations.
