Fleet Safety Case Study Presented at 2005 ASSE Annual Conference

NEW ORLEANS — “A Best Practices Approach to Fleet Safety” was co-presented as a case study at the June Safety 2005 — the annual conference of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) — by Phil Moser, national sales manager for Advanced Driver Training Services (ADTS), and Joseph McKillips, manager of Corporate Fleet Safety at Abbott Laboratories.Moser and McKillips outlined the steps necessary to establish a comprehensive fleet safety program designed to reduce an organization’s risk of fleet crashes. Their session reviewed the best practices proven effective in improving business driver safety, drawing on Abbott’s successful experience implementing a global standard for driver safety across multiple divisions.
