Vincentric has named the top 21 vehicles in its annual “Best Value in America” Awards for the 2015 model year based on total cost of ownership for the consumer market.

Toyota, Chevrolet and Lexus took the overall brand honors. Vincentric named Toyota the Best Passenger Vehicle Brand; Lexus won the Best Luxury Brand; and Chevrolet took the award for Best Truck Brand.

Toyota walked away with a total of 12 vehicle awards, including best compact hybrid with the Prius V, hybrid mid-size sedan with the Camry Hybrid, large sedan with the Avalon, mid-size crossover with the Highlander, hybrid crossover with the Highlander Hybrid, premium mid-size SUV with the Land Cruiser and compact pickup with the Tacoma.

Vincentric gave four truck awards. The Ram 1500 took the award for Best Full Size half-ton pickup, while the GMC Sierra 3500 won in full-size one-ton heavy duty pickup.

Vincentric measures cost-of-ownership using eight different cost factors including: depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs.
