Wheels Inc. presented its Remarketing Vendor Awards at the National Auto Auction Association’s (NAAA) 56th Annual Convention and Expo held on Sept. 29-Oct. 3, 2004 in Nashville. The winner for Outstanding Performance in Region 1 was Clarksville Auto Auction. In Region 2, the winner was Manheim’s Harrisburg Auto Auction; in Region 3 was Manheim’s San Antonio Auction, and in Region 4 was Manheim’s Los Angeles Dealer Auto Auction. The winner for Outstanding Service in Region 1 was Amerifleet, Inc. In Region 2, the winner was Manheim’s Hatfield Auto Auction. In Region 3, the recipient was Joe Pye Motor Company, and in Region 4 was Karco. Potential award recipients are Wheels vendor base auctions and wholesalers. To qualify for the Outstanding Performance award, vendors and auctions must sell a minimum of 100 vehicles per fiscal year. Performance is measured by average net dollars over automotive market report (AMR) and days to sale. For the Outstanding Service award, performance is measured by amount of sales, day to condition report, days to pickup, flexibility, customer service, and communication skills.
