September 15, 2004

Tarry Shebesta, president of Automobile Consumer Services, Inc. (ACS), will speak at the Association of Consumer Vehicle Lessors' conference on September 20-22. The Dearborn, Mich., event is a forum for industry leaders to discuss current markets, legislation, and other issues affecting the vehicle leasing community. Shebesta will be speaking on the subject of Used Vehicle Leasing and Remarketing. He was selected to ad-dress the meeting because of his numerous years of experience in vehicle leasing and remarketing. He is currently involved in directing his firm's Web site www.LeaseCompare.com/.

Key topics of his presentation will include:

  • Used-vehicle industry statistics.
  • Why used-vehicle leasing works.
  • Used-vehicle leasing strategies.
  • How used-vehicle leasing can help mitigate off-lease losses.

"This conference is a pivotal event for vehicle leasing professionals," says Shebesta. "The successful lenders in the industry understand they must continually educate themselves about changes in financing, remarketing, and technology in order to excel. The ACVL meeting gives attendees the chance to learn and work with each other on opportunities we share as an industry."
