Dealers Auto Auction of Oklahoma City has joined ServNet as its 23rd member auction. DAA of OKC was founded by Gary Smith in 1988. Smith, a native Oklahoman whose career in the automotive industry began in 1971, was previously part-owner of auctions in Dallas and Denver before determining that an independent auction was needed in his home state. Currently the auction encompasses 125 acres with an 11-bay auction arena, two-story office building, and 110,000 total square feet of reconditioning, mechanical, body and paint shop areas between the main facility and adjacent Leeway facility where factory and fleet/lease vehicles are processed. DAA of OKC hosts a weekly consignment sale on Thursdays, featuring vehicles from GMAC, Ford Credit, Arcadia, Household, and Americredit to name a few. In addition, the auction holds bi-weekly factory sales for Ford Motor Company and General Motors. The ServNet Auction Group is a nationwide association of independently-owned wholesale auto auctions. ServNet auctions offer a full range of remarketing services including reconditioning, transportation, inventory financing, wholesale automotive, salvage, specialty and internet auctions. ServNet remarkets vehicles for wholesale consignors including dealers, manufacturers, rental car companies, banks, finance and leasing institutions.
