Manheim Wins Four of Five Bank of America 2003 Auction Quality Awards

May 06, 2004

Manheim has announced that Central Florida Auto Auction in Orlando, Fla., San Diego Auto Auction in Oceanside, Calif., 166 Auto Auction in Springfield, Mo., and Ohio Auto Auction in Grove City, won four of five of the Auction Quality Awards presented by Bank of America for their performance in 2003. Bank of America’s Auction Quality Awards program recognizes an auction’s excellence in numerous performance categories – from customer service experience to reconditioning. Selection of the award winners is based on surveys from Bank of America’s internal and external remarketers in the company’s auto group division. “All of the 36 auctions that we do business with provide a high level of service, but these auctions rise above all of the others,” said Steven Piccinati, senior vice president, remarketing at Bank of America. “The winners of the 2003 Auction Quality Awards not only do an excellent job marketing our products, but also take ownership of the remarketing process on behalf of Bank of America to help ensure we get high levels of retention.”
