Chrysler Group Reports Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales for February

Chrysler Group reported Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (CPOV) sales of 8,407 units in February 2004, an increase of 30 percent over February 2003 when 6,453 units were sold.

Year-to-date sales for the Chrysler Group CPOV program increased 14 percent compared to year-to-date sales for 2003. Each Chrysler Group brand also posted significant CPOV sales increases. Chrysler brand posted sales of 2,273 units, a 45 percent increase over February 2003, and Jeep® brand posted sales of 1,791 units, a 5 percent increase. Dodge brand increased 36 percent to 4,343 units compared to February 2003.

Marketed as "Brand Spankin' Used," Chrysler Group Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles are only sold by Chrysler Group dealers who have earned the Five-Star certification.
