November 26, 2003

Rich Newey has been named national accounts manager at Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction. In his new post, he will oversee all the auction’s institutional business and national accounts. Included in his responsibilities will be working with all factory clients, including Ford Motor Company, as well as coordinating with the auction’s operations, sales, and service departments.

Newey has worked for Brasher’s auctions since 1981. He spent eight years in Sacramento working in operations, detail and recon, and the fleet/lease department, moving from fleet/lease manager to assistant general manager. For the past 14 years he has served as an auctioneer at Brasher’s Sacramento, Cascade, and Northwest auctions.

“Rich brings a tremendous amount of practical auction experience to this position,” said John Brasher, auction president. “He knows the business well, and he is passionate in his dedication to providing the highest levels of service to our customers.”
