Automakers Are Fast Out of the Gate with 2004 Incentives, Says

September 18, 2003, a multi-brand online car buying service, announced on Sept. 16 its September 2003 Best Bargains selections. Most notable this month is the generous number of rebates on newly released 2004 models.

"Right now, shoppers can buy a just-arrived '04 model and feel good about it,” said Mark McCready, director of pricing strategy at “Automakers are not holding back. In fact, the majority of '04 domestic models have an incentive, and even some newly re-designed and completely new models are being introduced with rebates."

Newly redesigned or completely new '04 vehicles that have rebates include the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Malibu, Mitsubishi Endeavor and Chrysler Pacifica.
