Four Industry Associations Announce Partnerships With CAR 2004 Conference

August 07, 2003

Four industry associations representing retail lessors, automotive finance companies, fleet-lease companies, and car rental companies have announced they will co-sponsor the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR), scheduled Jan. 21-24, 2004 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The four associations are the National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA), National Automotive Finance Association (NAF), Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA), and Association for Car and Truck Rental Independents and Franchisees (ACTIF).

“It has been rewarding to see the growing interest in the CAR program by the key consignor groups. Their sponsorships and presence will ensure that CAR 2004 is our best meeting yet,” said Ed Bobit, CEO of Bobit Publishing, which produces the CAR Conference.

In addition, the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) will co-locate its upcoming Roundtable Conference with the CAR 2004 Conference. The IARA Roundtable will take place Jan. 21, 2004, also at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
