Salvage Chain Buys Manheim Orlando Auction

July 10, 2003

Insurance Auto Auctions has purchased the damaged vehicle division of Manheim’s Orlando Orange County Auto Auction in Orlando, Fla. The 24-acre facility is IAA’s second location in the state.

According to O’Brien, the new acquisition is a cost-effective way to further penetrate the large Florida market.

So far this year, IAA has added eight new branches. The company plans to continue its aggressive expansion into new markets.
