New Remarketing Manager Named for DCX Captive

Eckart Klumpp has been promoted to vice president of remarketing for DaimlerChrysler Services of North America, replacing Kelly Mankin. Klumpp will direct more than 300 people involved in remarketing process disciplines, ranging from pre- and post-termination remarketing, Internet and dealer purchase programs, and general support staff. He will also be responsible for Chrysler Financial’s U.S. remarketing operations and Mercedes-Benz Credit. Klumpp most recently served as senior manager, global sales and marketing on the financial services audit team. Mankin has assumed the role of chief operating officer at RouteOne, responsible for managing all sales, marketing, communications, and operation-related functions. RouteOne is a joint venture with DaimlerChrysler Services, Ford Motor Credit Company, General Motor Acceptance, and Toyota Financial Services Corporation.
